The Randles Lab is pleased to announce that Amanda Randles has been promoted to Full Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, effective July 1, 2026.
Professor Randles first joined Duke as an undergraduate student before returning to the university as a faculty member in 2015. Since then, she has built a multidisciplinary research program focused on high performance computing, vascular digital twins, artificial intelligence, and computational medicine, with applications spanning cardiovascular disease and cancer.
"This promotion reflects the support of outstanding mentors, colleagues, students, postdoctoral researchers, staff, collaborators, and my family," said Randles. "I am grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing our research and training the next generation of computational scientists and biomedical engineers at Duke."
The Randles Lab looks forward to continuing its mission of developing computational technologies that advance biomedical discovery and improve patient care.
