We are excited to celebrate a major milestone for Wendy Wu, who has officially advanced to PhD candidacy in Biomedical Engineering after successfully passing her preliminary exam.
Wendy’s research in the Randles Lab focuses on developing and using computational models of cellular mechanics to gain insight into the underlying biophysical phenomena influencing disease progression. Through her work, she is helping to push forward the lab’s mission of creating innovative computational and digital health technologies.
This achievement marks an important step in her doctoral journey, and we are so proud of the dedication, creativity, and rigor she has brought to her research. Congratulations, Wendy, on becoming a PhD Candidate!
