Randles Lab @ 2nd Annual Duke Summit on AI Health Innovation

October 13, 2025

Members of the Randles Lab were excited to take part in the 2nd Annual Duke Summit on AI for Health Innovation, hosted by Duke AI Health, the Duke University Center for Computational and Digital Health Innovation, and the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech) last week.

As part of the program, Amanda Randles led a series of lightning talks on computational and digital health innovations, highlighting advances in wearable sensing, high-performance computing, and digital twin modeling. The session concluded with a panel discussion chaired by Kurt Schmidt (NVIDIA), featuring Monica, Jessilyn, and Amanda sharing insights on how these technologies can transform the future of patient care.

The Summit brought together Duke experts and industry partners to explore how AI is reshaping healthcare — from ambient and agentic AI technologies to personalized modeling and real-world implementation. It was a powerful example of how collaboration across disciplines can accelerate responsible innovation in healthcare.
