We are excited to share that Shihab Kabir has successfully passed his preliminary exam and advanced to PhD candidacy in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University.
Shihab’s research focuses on cancer and fluid structure interaction, with an emphasis on understanding how physical forces and flow dynamics influence disease progression. His work brings together computational modeling and biophysics to study complex interactions that are difficult to capture experimentally, contributing to our broader efforts in computational and digital health.
This is an important milestone in the PhD journey and reflects Shihab’s strong foundation, thoughtful approach to research, and continued growth as a researcher. We are excited to see his work continue to develop in the next phase of his PhD.
