GPU data access study published in IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems

Collaborative work with ORNL that was led by Greg Herschlag was recently published in IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems. This work is titled "Analysis of GPU Data Access Patterns on Complex Geometries for the D3Q19 Lattice Boltzmann Algorithm" and presented a detailed performance analysis of the effect of varying data access patterns on computational performance for realistic fluid dynamics workflows on GPUs.
